It all started when Nate moved into the same neighborhood that Lisa lived in. She would spend time working in the community garden and Nate would drop by for long chats.

Thanksgiving 2022 with friends turned into the official beginning of "us". After A LOT of hanging out, Lisa finally asked Nate, "What is this?" He responded by kissing her and the rest is history.

Nothing bonds a new relationship together quite like getting covid at the same time.

Luckily, the cats took to Nate quite quickly.

Along the way, they have found many shared passions... camping..

...music...

...and adventuring on their kayaks.

They were able to take a great trip to Florida to spend time with Nate's family.

..and to do a little sea fishing.

Thanksgiving 2023 marked their one year date-a-versary.

By their 2nd Christmas together, Nate began slowly accepting Lisa's obsession with MANY trees and Christmas decorations.

Lisa has even been able to convince Nate to partake in some theater along the way.

The summer included a sweet proposal by the campfire on a camping trip in Westcliffe, CO.
